Description. Vintage Cinderella Design Mixing Bowl.
Drawing based on folk embroidery in orange and brown. This pattern was called "Town and Country" and was used by Pyrex from 1963 to 1967.
A little information. In 1957, Pyrex developed a new form of mixing bowl. This form differed from traditional bowls in the special design of two handles, which can be used as grooves for pouring batter or sauce.
This form was called "Cinderella", as a tribute to the popular story of Cinderella at the time.
We even know the name of the designer who gave this convenient bowl to housewives - John Phillip Johnson.
