READ BEFORE BUYING: Agar-Agar powder is only used to solidify the culture medium, it doesn't grow plants when used alone. The Murashige & Skoog Modified Medium is sold as "MS Mod.". When buying "MS Mod. - 1L" you will receive 34.44g of nutrient powder mixture that should be diluted in 1L of water.


Contains the macro- and micronutrients and vitamins as described by Murashige and Skoog (1962); Modified with the addition of (mg/L): 1.0 BA & 0.1 NAA. Also contains 30 g/L Sucrose. Plant tissue culture tested

Steps for preparing media:
  1. Dissolve media in water. Add agar if needed.
  2. Adjust pH. 
  3. Heat the solution near its boiling point.
  4. Pour into flasks or any other heat resistant container. 
  5. Sterilize by autoclaving.
A typical cultivation flask will take 25ml to 50ml of media, producing 20 to 40 flasks / L.
