LEITCH, William Leighton.

Autograph Letter Signed, to Miss Morris, explaining that “some unpleasant news” had prevented his visit, now asking whether he may send a drawing. 1 page, with three lines and signature overleaf, in fine condition. Undated.

William Leighton Leitch (1804-1883), watercolour painter, one of the last classical landscape painters in England, travelled through Europe in the 1830’s.
