Description
This is for a nice Britains toy soldier set, from US Civil War series, featuring Mounted Buffalo Soldiers Troops, re-issued and meticulously hand painted with highest standards by DSG Argentina, using original 1970's old Britains' molds.
On June 28, 1866, an Act of Congress authorized the creation of six regiments of Black troops, two of cavalry and four of infantry. These troops went on to play a major role in the history of the West, as the "Buffalo Soldiers." The 10th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas under command of Colonel Benjamin Grierson.
The set is composed by six different mounted figures in different action positions.
The figures and their bases are made of plastic, ready for displaying.
