On offer here is a Gorham Cambridge all silver cake or bread knife or saw that is 9.5" long and weighs 81 grams.

Cambridge was introduced with Buttercup in 1899, and as a slightly more masculine version of Buttercup with gadroon decoration taking the place of some of the floral work, Cambridge today doesn't seem quite as popular as the Buttercup pattern.

This cake knife has a nice L monogram situated sideways.

On the bottom side, the knife is stamped pat 1899, with Gorham's hallmarks, sterling and for the retailer T Hausmann & Sons.
