Description - Delightful antique turn of the 20th century solid silver vesta case of rectangular form with spring loaded hinged lid, thumb piece, striker at the base and silver-gilt interior. 

Embellished with hand engraved ivy leaf decoration and a cartouche with the hand engraved initials "HJB".

Fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, date letter "k" for the year 1909 and the maker's mark "JR" which is John Rose.

Condition - In good condition, there is a ding to the front edge (please inspect end photograph)
