FAQ Frequently Asked Questions:

 

Q: What is the difference Between KESS V2 and K-TAG?

A: KESS V2 has OBD function, but Ktag does not have this function.

 

Q: How to do checksum for kess v2? Does the kess v2 automatically re-write it? 

A: After reading the software, the device will automatically do checksums. 

 

Q: I get “checksum error”druing read ECH with KESS V2, what I can do?

A: please search the software " microsoft visual C++ 2005,2008,2010" on google, then install it on your computer, then it can solve this problem.

 

Q: Kess V2 describes "9. Full integration with ECM Titanium" but I didn’t find it has ECM Titanium.

A: You misunderstood, this sentence means KESS V2 can work with ECM Titanium, not means KESS V2 contains ECM Titanium. KESS V2 is an ECU programming tool, and ECM Titanium is a set of programming software for adjusting power.

 

Q: KESS V2 has error “Connections not established”

A: Please check whether you install the KESS V2 driver well in device manager

 

Q: After I open “KSuite.exe” and try to run KESS V2, all of the following icons are gray and locked, I can't do any thing
