Vernon Kilns of California Casserole/Tureen with lid, railroad theme.   Approx. 11" across (including handles) and 5.5" tall (including lid).  There are two chips on inside lip of lid (see pictures). In the picture the glaze on the bottom looks to be cracked but not noticeable without magnification. Exterior is in beautiful condition.  This was displayed in a china cabinet in my parents home for years.
