Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Emile Oscar Guillaume' after own design. Emile Oscar Guillaume (1867-1942) was a French sculptor, born in Paris. He expressed the idea of Peace in several of his sculptures.

Subject: Antique drawing, titled: 'La Carte Exposee' - (exposed cards) Three figures around the entrance of a restaurant. All figures are dressed as playing cards. The man (Hearts) on the right looks in doubt at the pitiful amount of coins in his pocket while the woman (also Hearts) beside him looks at the menu for the restaurant. The cook (Spades) stands in the doorway.

Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 49.5 x 32 cm. The image size is ca. 38 x 28 cm.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 19.5 x 12.6 inch. The image size is ca. 15 x 11 inch.

Medium: Pen and ink, with watercolour colouring, on wove paper.
