Description: This scarse plate originates from: Gezigten in de omstreken van Haarlem.', by Petrus Johannes Lutgers. (1808-1874), published by Franz. Buffa & sons, the widow of A. Loosjes Pz..Amsterdam,Haarlem 1837-1844.
Artists and Engravers: Lutgers was born in 1808 at Amsterdam as a son of Joannes Lutgers and Elizabeth Cornelia van Kampen. Lutgers is famous for his works with lithographed views of manor houses and castles, and surroundings of other Dutch cities, like Haarlem, Utrecht and 'sGravenhage: Printed by Desguerrois & Co and Hilmar Johannes Backer.
