Everdur silicon bronze is an alloy that contains copper along with lower amount of silicon and manganese. It comes in a light gold color as the alloy has very good fluidity and good ductility. So the alloy flows well when melted and cast to fill all intricate corners and points as well as has malleability to be formed into intricate details.
When used for sculptures and jewelry making, Everdur silicon bronze has very good fluidity to move and fill within the mold during casting processes. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, which is essential for jewelry that may experience oxidation from oils from the skin.

The simplicity of the cable chain makes it a popular choice for everyday wear. Cable chains are crafted using a series of interlocked round or oval links and come in a variety of chain lengths. They also stand up well to the wear-and-tear of life and are easily repaired if life wins.
Cable chains have uniform links, either oval or round, with a single join on each side. A variation of the cable chain is the trombone link chain or paperclip chain, both of which have elongated oblong links that resemble their namesakes, sometimes alternating with smaller round links. This style may also be called a ring and connector chain.
