3 MODES:

• ANTI-HIJACK MODE (in case of theft): The stolen vehicle will run normally for about 10 seconds, and then the engine will then begin to cut out at regular intervals, resulting in total ignition shutdown in under 30 seconds. With the vehicle now immobile, the horn then emits a pulsed alarm for the next 5 minutes, thwarting the thief and enabling the owner to audibly trace their vehicle.
  
  
• OVER-RIDE MODE (short-term loan of the vehicle): If you need to take your vehicle into service or have to disable StopMyEngine for any reason, there's an input code, plus your passcode you can use to achieve this.
  
  
• EMERGENCY OVER-RIDE MODE (loss of phone): If you lose your phone or your phone battery dies, connect a new phone or reconnect your old one by simply entering your unique passcode.
  
  
• CODE 7: StopMyEngine also includes an input switch that can be used to disable the alarm mode. Users can enter the code '7' and wait to hear 7 beeps, confirming the proper entry of the code, and then enter their 2-digit security code. This override feature allows for a one-time ride/drive without triggering the alarm, providing users with an added layer of flexibility and convenience.
