This is an antique gilt metal medal commemorating the Coronation of George V and Mary dated 1911. The front has been hand painted with some red paint - not enamelling.
The back is marked The Urban District Council of Denton.
No maker's marks etc. 

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. There is some wear on the gilding and some surface scuffs etc.

It measures approx. 36mm long excluding the suspension loop and pin at the top x 25mm.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
