Here is an official bear designed exclusively for the United States Marine Corps by American Greetings Company. They were only sold at the PX, not off base. He is the third in a series of six bears, featuring different historical uniforms of the Marines. These bears were made in limited editions of 3,000 each. This bear is called Mexican-American Bear from 1846-1848. He is 17" to the top of his hat. All his arms are jointed, and can be positioned any way you desire. His clothing is not removable from the bear. His boots are made of soft pleather, and sewn onto his feet, the jacket and pants are sort of a velvety material, loose ends on the coat and collar only -- it has little gold studs that are well attached for his buttons. He has a soft plush head, paws, and ears in a honey brown shade. His hat is sewn onto his head.

He is still strapped into his box and has never been removed.  Box is in good shape.
