Cilantro is the dried seed or fruit of the Coriandrum sativum plant, which belongs to the parsley family. Cilantro is the leaf of this same plant and surprisingly, its flavor is vastly different from that of Cilantro. Cilantro has a complex but delicate flavor with a hint of pepper, mint, and lemon. Cilantro has a sweet, aromatic taste with a touch of citrus. Cilantro seeds are native to Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region.


As with all seeds, toasting them will bring out more of the aromatic flavor. If your recipe calls for cracked or crushed Cilantro, buy the whole Cilantro and crack or crush it yourself (either spin it quickly in a blender or hammer slightly in a sealable bag). This will produce the best, freshest taste. Our seeds are for culinary use and not for planting.

How do you make Cilantro drink?


            


- Heat the water till it is just lukewarm water and take off the heat.


- Add the Cilantro seeds to the water and allow them steep for 15 min- 40 min.


- Strain the water and discard the seeds. (use a tea strain). If you need you can drink coriander tea with seeds.


- Drink the water over 2 hours.
