To keep punctures to a minimum and rolling resistance to a maximum, bicycle tyres need to be pumped up regularly. With a typical pressure for a road tyre being 100psi (6.9 bar), a frame mounted pump can struggle, so if you are regularly pumping up tyres a floor track pump is an excellent investment.

This example from Kamasa (part no: 56042) has a steel barrel and solid steel base for stability, and quickly brings tyres up to a maximum pressure of 160psi (11 bar).

The high mounted, dual-scale gauge is easy to read and the twist and lock valve head is reversible for Schrader or Presta valves.
