Description of item for sale:

This elegant wall cabinet is from France and dates to the early 1800's.  It is quite large (48" tall) and would work well as a kitchen or bar cabinet in a high ceiling room.  It is made from solid oak finished to a natural oak color that has a slight red tint.  The doors open and close smoothly and the original lock works perfectly.   It is in very good antique condition with only minor chips and discolorations and no woodworm or dry rot whatsoever.  As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.  Dimensions:  48" high, 55" wide and 15" deep.
