Non-slip (textured) heat shrink tubing for handles and grips
All heat shrinkage is measured as the diameter of an open circle unless otherwise stated. While some companies may use flat tube or peripheral measurements, the industry standard is through nominal I.D. measuring tubes. (the inside diameter of). To determine the proper diameter to buy, bundle all the wires together and measure this thickness. Calipers provide the most precise measurements, but placing a ruler on the harness will also show the diameter.
It is suitable for kayak and canoe paddle handles, fishing rods, fishing rods, grips and gun stocks, sports racket/racquet handles, drum sticks and more.
Our anti-skid heat shrink tubing is made of a special irradiated cross-linked polymer alloy and then given a special surface treatment.
It provides a durable, decorative diamond surface finish with increased friction and slip resistance. It is also known as non-slip, X wrap, X shrink, diamond braided heat shrink tubing.
Shrinkage of 2.1 shrinks when heated to provide tight coverage on irregular shapes. It can be easily cut to length and quickly applied with a heat gun.
