This is a gorgeous antique E.P.N.S. SWEETMEAT DISH. The frame is square with notched corners, supported on 4 fancy feet, beautifully etched with clusters of GINKGO leaves, and finished with a "swing" handle. The frame is marked: A B & Co - 469 - E P N S - (Albert J. Beardshaw & Co., Sheffield, England - 1863-1951).
It is fitted with a round, ribbed Cranberry art glass dish - hand blown with a polished pontil - accented with a clear rim of applied rigaree.
