Vintage ‘Once Upon a Time’ Comic No.
1, 24th February 1973 – 50 years old!
This is the
very first issue (re-published) and an original copy of this favourite story
telling comic of the sixties and seventies. It really is in nice clean
condition and has survived incredibly well. There is some minor wear to the
spine; the staples are still holding on securely. This comic is printed in full
colour and has numerous superb illustrations. The ink colours are still bright
and fresh, not at all faded. There is a crease across the centre due to this
item being stored folded for some time. A puzzle inside has been completed in
pencil, otherwise perfectly clean and unmarked.
Stories
include Cinderella, Brer Rabbit, Aladdin and Pinocchio, in addition to many
factual pages mainly to do with music, painting and international costume. This
item is really quite charming!
This is a
great collector’s item or would make the perfect gift for a special person celebrating
their birthday on the 24th February – or any day up to the 3rd
March when the next issue would have been released.

the item will be posted folded, with padding, in order to avoid the expense of
posting as a parcel.
