Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Valentine Dumont' after own design. This map possibly by Valentine Francoise Dumont (Gent; 1848-1928) a Flemish / Belgian artist, painter of animals (particular donkeys and fowls), sister of Marguerite Dumont.

Subject: Antique manuscript map, titled: 'Mappe Monde ' - This map shows a double hemisphere world map, with the continents coloured in outline.
Condition: Very good, given age. Left margin a bit short so the border around the map falls off a bit (although this seems to be original). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 28.8 x 19.5 cm. The image size is ca. 28.8 x 17 cm.
