The photo shown on the exhibition poster was part of an October 1949 Vogue photoshoot entitled “Young velvets, Young Prices”

It captures the beauty of Manhattan’s skyline complete with the Chrysler and Empire State buildings in full view.

Now 40 years old the poster is showing signs of age, there are water marks as shown in the pictures.

The black frame is included in the sale, again shows signs of its age.

Collection only due to the fragility although could be removed from frame and posted without it.
