These ceramic adaptors are particularly suitable in applications where high temperatures may be produced, by high bulb power or by operation in a confined space. They also allow the conversion from expensive and difficult to obtain E40 light bulbs to the more common E27 bulbs. They are ideal in applications where high temperatures may be produced such as industrial locations, bulkheads, high wattage lamps as in factories/warehouses and for reptiles in vivariums & tortoise tables, egg Incubation cabinets etc.

E40 to E27 adaptor is 63mm high by 52mm wide (40mm screw to 27mm screw).
