Vintage Tobacciana Lot of Briar Pipes, Holders, Ashtrays. Perfect Gift for Pipe Lovers. 10 vintage pipes, three pipe holders/displays, and five ashtrays. 7 Cafey Magic Inc briar pipes (various patent numbers), 1 Bradbury wrapped in leather, 1 Mehaffey R5 and 1 handmade briar/Bruyere estate pipes. All of the pipes show wear from use, particularly around the top of the bowl opening from tapping on a hard surface. All of the stems show marks around the bit. One Carey pipe missing the stem. Some minor scratches and marks around the stummel of the pipes. Wiped with damp cloth and the stummel cleaned with soap and water but a good cleaning and maintenance is recommended prior to use or gifting. Good candidates for restoration. All of the items are decades to near century old.
Bradbury Fine Imported Briar Real Leather Estate pipe has a small split in the leather on the top exterior of the shaft.
Handcarved 3-piece bruyere pipe has a small chip on the tip of the bottom piece as well as around the bit (see photo) and a string from the bowl to the stem is missing.
The five pipe wooden display is handmade/handcarved from India. The pair of clay ashtrays are handmade from Colombia.
One ten (10) pipe holder and glass humidor for tobacco. The top two head horse handle has a dowel that is inserted partway into the base of the horse heads and through the center of the lid to the glass humidor. The dowel is snug but not secure so the horse knob handle of the lid could slide off. There is a screw and a metal washer and what might be a chalk ring that screws on to the dowel from the underside of the lid but the screw only goes partially into the dowel so there's a gap (see photo). There are some scratches/dings in the wood.
Small dent on the four (4) pipe holder in the space for a bowl (see photo).
All three pipe holders and display and wooden ashtray base have minor scratches/dings. The amber glass ashtray set on a wooden frame has a small chip on the glass (see photo) and the wood holder has a small chip in one of the corners. The two clay ashtrays have chips on the corner notches that hold pipes in place (see photo). The bronze ashtray has a slight crack on two of the notches (see photo of bottom of ashtray).
