Three classical music programs from Trenton, NJ during the early 1940s: one for a symphony orchestra concert; one for an opera performance; and one for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. The orchestra and opera programs measure about 6 1/8" x 9 1/8"; the ballet program is slightly smaller.

Trenton Opera Association, program for The Abduction from the Seraglio, February 26, 1942. PREMIERE of a new English version by Ruth and Thomas P. Martin, with Thomas P. Martin as assistant conductor. Staple-bound, 16 pages including covers. Some wear to corners, but binding has held up well. No pen or pencil marks.

Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, performance of April 24, 1940. Works performed were Les Sylphides, Scheherazade, and Gaite Pariesienne. Staple-bound, eight pages including covers. Has an old vertical fold that has long since been flattened. No pen or pencil marks.

Trenton Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guglielmo Sabatini. Program for February 17, 1942. The orchestra played works by Mozart, Brahms, Otto Mueller, Samuel Barber, Richard Strauss, and Berlioz. Staple-bound, 16 pages including covers. Very nice condition, no pen or pencil marks.
