The cable outer diameter is equivalent to 4C (6.6 mm), while the centre conductor has a diameter equivalent to 5C (1.0 mm), thus combining the ease of handling of 4C wire with the stable transmission capability of 5C wire.
The RCA plugs use Oyaide Electric's original plugs. The centre pin of the RCA plug has a tube structure to secure the signal transmission area. The contacts are protected from oxidation by a highly durable 24K gold plating. The internal insulation material is FEP with low dielectric constant to reduce transmission loss.
The BNC plug for accurate impedance has a rigid three-body construction made of brass and Delrin. FEP with low dielectric constant is used as the internal insulating material to reduce transmission loss.
