This post box is brand new, unused and in its original packaging with two keys. Available now for delivery within 7 days of purchase.

G VI R is the regal cypher or monogram of the late King George VI, and it has been displayed beautifully on this magnificent post box.

Prince Albert became king in 1936 and chose the name of his father upon ascending the throne. Although he never expected to take the throne, King George was the last Emperor of India, and was the father to two daughters one of whom was the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The post box has been finished in matt black, adorned with white lettering and the majestic insignia. Its front has been made from cast aluminium and its back has been fabricated from steel, making this wonderfully traditional postal box entirely authentic, and features a time table holder.

A fantastic post box, bursting with character and original detailing. Perfect for adding a sense of English charm to any home.

Originally purchased by us from Black Country Metalworks. Currently (January 2024) being sold for £200

The post box is beautiful and we were delighted with our purchase. We are selling this post box due to the fact that we have altered the house entrance and subsequently our post box requirement.
