NAIVE FOLK ART TREEN - RARE ANTIQUE 19thC NAVAL MARITIME ARTICULATED DOLL FIGURE!

A reluctant sale from my Personal Collection, an extremely rare and particularly naive English late 19thC Articulated Naval / Maritime Folk Art " Doll Figure baring areas of Pokerwork referencing "GRIMSBY 1877" aswell as "HMS HULL 1832" (see images for examples), there are also a few other areas of faint and rather discreet writing in places inlcuding the phrase "God Speed" faintly etched into the back of his Head. The Face itself is particularly crude / naive with the Eyes set with small Studs, the Legs show remnants of original Blue Paint as shown.
The piece measures approx 29cm in overall length when fully extended. A superb and highly naive / primitive piece of English Naval / Maritime Folk Art worthy of any Museum or Private Collection!

The piece is bein offered in entirely original condition showing great overall patina throughout, each limb is freely moving and Articulatd as originally intended. Please study all images prior to purchase for an accurate report!

Happy buying folks!
