A Victorian era, art glass SUGAR SHAKER or Muffineer in a pattern sometimes called "Cabin in the Snow" - decorated white opaline glass by the Smith Brothers, circa 1880's.

This shaker features a log cabin with snow on its roof, a few trees and mountains in the background - done in shades of rust, browns and grey tones.  The shape is tapered, wider at the base , with a ring neck - finished with a 2 piece metal shaker top pierced with a star pattern.

Unsigned - possibly made by the Mt. Washington Glass Co. or the Smith Brothers, but the decoration has been attributed to the Smith Bros.

Measurements:  5.25" tall,  2.5" wide base,  2" wide top
