Vintage Reeves & Sons Mahogany Artists Box with
base drawer
A very
nice early Reeves and Sons mahogany artist box with locking base drawer. The
box has Reeves and son printed on the inside of the lid plus other internal
labels. A securing locking pin locks the base drawer in place. The box has a military
type flush handle and original lock (no key for lock) the internal fittings
have a segmented area with labels for paint pastilles, a ceramic mixing slab
and a glass water pot. The internal areas of the tray are divided with mahogany
dividers. A really wonderful box in great original condition.
Dimensions – The box measures 21cm wide, 17cm deep and 7cm in
height.
Condition – Great original condition, nice polished finish on
box.
