Tamiya's electric radio control car assembly kit was famous for its rounded form and full-fledged equipment.
The basic structure of the Volkswagen off-roader has been improved, and it has been re-released as a reprint version since its debut in 1979.
Features
The main frame is composed of a 2mm thick FRP plate with excellent flexibility and strength and duralumin panels for reinforcement. Equipped with four oil dampers with excellent shock absorption, it provides stable running.
Suspension = F: Double trailing arm, R: Swing axle
Gear ratio = 6.5:1, 9.3:1
Speed controller = ESC specification (sold separately)
This is a reprint version of the Volkswagen Off Roader, an electric radio control car assembly kit that was introduced in 1979 and gained popularity for its humorous form and full-fledged equipment, with improvements made to each part while maintaining the basic configuration.
One-make classes are also available in off-road races such as the Baja 1000 held in California in the United States, and Volkswagen's off-road race spec cars are also known as Baja Bugs.
Its characteristic form has been realistically reproduced.
Moreover, the body is made of white-colored impact-resistant styrene resin. You can use paint for plastic models, so I'm looking forward to coloring it.
Furthermore, the 2WD chassis with rear motor and rear drive is also finished to give you the feel of a real car.
