Item Number 21-398

Vintage corkscrew made for the Horizon Beverage Company of Massachusetts, as a promotional item, by the Franmara Company of Italy in the 1970s.  It is interesting to note that the Horizon Beverage Company began operations in 1933 one day after Prohibition ended.  The company continues in business today.  The plastic (bakelite?) handled steel corkscrew measures 5 1/2 inches long and has a small fold-out knife for cutting the tin or plastic cork covering on a wine bottle when opening. it.  A nice item for the basement bar, picnic basket, wine advertising item or just a nice collectible display item.

In very good condition with no significant evidence of wear or use.

NOTE:

Items are sold "as-is" and by nature have been previously used.  Condition assessment is our best effort and may not be comprehensive.  We welcome questions.
