Beautiful English Antique Rosewood Travel Vanity Case
 
    * Victorian gentleman's rosewood dressing case.
    * Fitted with silver gilt top jars, tools. Two
       jars have ground glass stoppers under the caps.
    * Lift out tray.
    * Easel like mahogany framed mirror folds up
       and is concealed above tray and compartments.    
    * Label "Stocken MAKER, 53 Quadrant" inside lid
       compartment.

         * Found in "Directory of British antique dressing case, antique toilet box, antique jewellery box and antique writing box manufacturers and retailers.  These listings have been kept specific to the Regency, late Georgian, William IV and Victorian era’s".
    * Beautiful thick Brazilian rosewood veneer.
    * Nice brass bindings at corners of lid and box.
    * Ebony escutcheon around the keyhole.
    * Mahogany inside.     
    * 10 1/8" wide x 7 7/8" deep x 4 3/4" tall.
    * Oval brass plate centered on lid.
    * The key fits but does not turn the lock.
    * Silvering of mirror along edges deteriorated otherwise in very good condition.
