This is an excellent original real photographic postcard showing a fine view of WW1 German Battlecruiser SMS Hindenberg as she sat on the seabed at Scapa Flow in the Scottish Orkneys on 21st June 1919.  She had been scuttled on the orders of Rear Admiral Ludwig von Reuter to prevent her being used by the Allied forces after the German surrender in 1918.  Good card, postally unused and in super condition. See scans. Buyers please note: I usually try to do my posting as soon as eBay pay me, however, as our village Post Office has been closed I now have to drive a 12 mile round trip to get to another one. Therefore I now try to do my post once a week, so please bear with me!  For all items where the sale price is £20.00 or under, and the destination is to a UK address the postage cost will be a flat £1.15p. If the final sale price is over £20.00 then I will send it via Royal Mail Signed For at a cost of £2.35p which is cost price to me. For overseas items the shipping cost will be £2.75p for postcards, and as stated in my invoice for heavier items. Where the sale price is over £20.00 I must now charge for International Tracked & Signed at a flat cost of £7.95p.  This will be quoted for in my invoice when payment is requested.  I do regret the need for this, but I am not prepared to lose any more money through Paypal reclaims due to items going missing in the post.  I am sure you will appreciate my problem, plus this will safeguard these top-quality cards and items in transit.  Customers may pay by personal cheque, postal order or Paypal as well as via eBay.  A certificate of postage is always obtained.  Please do not hesitate to ask questions and I will do my best to help.  Good luck if bidding! Clive Turner.
