This is a stunning bronze bust of the Queen Idia, from the Benin Kingdom in modern day Nigeria. The piece is beautifully detailed, giving it real character and depth.

It stands at 35cm tall and appears in good condition. There is a hole pictured at the back of the head, this will have been caused during the lost wax technique making process.

An exceptional bronze, this will be a standout display piece.
