This auction is for an antique GDA Gerard Dufraisseix & Abbot Limoges heavily decorated gilded floral porcelain demitasse cup & saucer. The bottoms of the cup and saucer are marked GDA. LIMOGES. FRANCE. Although we are unsure, we believe that this set dates between 1900-1941. The set is beautifully designed with a gilded floral pattern. The saucer measures roughly 4 1/2” in diameter. The cup measures roughly 2 1/8” in height. The rim of the cup measures roughly 2 5/16” in diameter. The set weighs 4.3 oz. The set appears to be free of any chips, cracks, or repairs, although it does have aging, wear, fading, scratches, nicks, manufacturing imperfections, and general wear (see pictures).
