A Chinese Soapstone carving of a Figure of a Lohan reclining on a rocky outcrop holding what appears to be a double gourd vase. Probably dates to the 18th or 19th Century Qing Dynasty. Please refer to the photos provided.

Size: just over 3.25’ Inches high or 8.5 cms, . . . .

width is 3.5’ inches or 9 cms . . . . . . . . .

Depth is 2.25 inches or 6 cms.

Condition: Generally very good there is a natural flaw to the stone visible underneath and a couple of small scrapes to the stone which I have tried to photo, one to the left side of the piece as the piece is facing you and what appears to be a small chip to the belly. Also, there is a hole on the underside, which was probably a mounting to sit on a plinth at one point and just age related wear, if any, through handling.

Please refer to the pictures provided as this is part of the description. Thank you.
