Description
Controller for ABLETON Live
Live 9.5 or higher required

Ableton Push 2 and Live work seamlessly together, offering the benefits of both hands-on hardware for creating music from scratch and full-featured software for refining and perfecting your songs.

Features

Push 2 and Live work seamlessly together, allowing you to create beats, play notes and chords, process samples, and build song structures, all without ever seeing a computer screen.

Browse, preview, and load sounds for beat creation and access Live's vast drum library; manipulate beats live with 64 velocity-sensitive pads; and adjust sounds and kits while playing with touch-sensitive endless encoders. Touch-sensitive endless encoders let you adjust sounds and kits as you play.

The pads are pitch-sensitive, providing a centralized layout that encourages fresh approaches to melody and harmony. Wide range of controls are easy to use, and patterns can be played using the same fingering on any key. Select keys and scales with the touch of a button, or use Push's touch sliders for pitch bend and modulation.

You can also step sequence notes and chords. Use the pads to enter notes, make precise timing changes, create variations, and adjust note length and velocity. In addition, automation can be step-sequenced. Parameter values for each step can be recorded, creating parameter changes locked to specific notes in the loop.

In slicing mode, long samples can be instantly chopped up and each slice can be played back on various pads. This is ideal if you want to rearrange loops on the fly or create drum kits from recorded grooves. Classic mode turns the melody sample into a playable articulatory instrument. Using the encoder, you can define the start and end positions, as well as their respective attack, delay, sustain, and release.
