This lovely postcard is by Margaret Tarrant.  It depicts the Madonna with the Boy Jesus with what could be an Angel kneeling, with lilies all around.  Lovely colours and artwork.  The card is titled "Christ was Born Among the Lillies".  The publisher is the Medici Society, Pk. No. 129.   Not postally used, dates, I think to the 1930s.

The card is in a very good condition.  Rubs at corners, tiny creases at corners, a little very light grubbiness to borders, light edge rubs, erased old pencil price, old pencil price, a little light browning, and some tiny marks to reverse.  Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote.

Overseas postage - please note I only charge what it costs me to send the item. I do pack my cards well to withstand a long journey and to try and ensure that they are well protected against damage and weather, this means that the package does not fit through the 5mm letter slot and is sent as a small parcel. I can however send many postcards for the same cost as one.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectable items.
