THE SPACER sits under the existing footprint as the standard headrest mount , but moves it back 1.5" (more or less if you want) to a better position so that it does not bump your head while working.
THE SPACER spreads the load too with bigger active footprint than the original since the load is not put out to the outer edges but all over the spacer's front!

If you are not using this on a Steelcase Leap V1 or V2 HIGH BACK CHAIR or Zody AND using it with the Lorell Model 85562 Headrest DON'T ORDER THIS!
You will need to drill two #10-32 holes THROUGH THE SEAT BACK to attach the SPACER to your Steelcase HIGH BACK chair back - Hardware included

Made to fit the Steelcase V1 and V2 chair but it will probably fit most any solid backed chair. Gives you more space behind your head than directly attaching the Lorell headrest to your chair.
I found the 1.5" depth to be the best, but you can choose from 1" up to 2" of spacing. Indicate this when ordering.
You will need to drill two 10-32" holes to attach to your chair back - Hardware included. (Steelcase and the Lorell company are not in any way associated with this listing - used for reference only.)
