This is a British Army-issue beret to a Gunner of the Royal Horse Artillery.
SIZE: The beret is a size 54cm.

The outer material is a dark-blue-coloured wool and it is fully lined on the interior with black cotton.
It is in used but excellent condition.
The band is a leather one.
The badge is a silver-staybrite version for Other Ranks. It is in excellent shape.
In addition there is a new formation-patch to 1 Artillery Brigade and used TRF to the RHA.
Lastly there are a group of four staybrite ball-buttons to the RHA. In used but excellent shape.
Weight is 106g.

Tips on How to Measure your Head Size
MEASURE: You can use a tape measure or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure to determine the length. Place the string or tape around you head about 1/8” above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
SIZING TIPS:
1. Small is usually 55cm, medium is usually 57cm, Large is usually 59cm, X-Large is usually 61cm and 2X-Large is usually 63cm.
2. On any style of hat, we highly recommend getting a centimetre or inch measurement of your head size before placing an order.
