The new model is a faithful reproduction of the design of the "very first" Iron Man® 8-lap watch released in 1986.
The design and technology of the watch was innovative and cutting-edge for its time, with a black case, a gray metallic finish inspired by car paint, and start/stop and lap measurement pushers on the surface of the watch, rather than on the side. The watch sold 400,000 units in its first year.
The legendary masterpiece, which sold 400,000 units in its first year and has been called "the milestone of sports watches," has been reissued.
