INSCRIBED by the author on the first endpaper. 

Published by Bobbs Merrill Company (Indianapolis, USA) in 1927. Presumed 1st Edition. Hardcover without dustjacket. Cover is discolored/tanned along the front edge and spine; there are some small stains on either side. There is a small bookplate on the first endpaper opposing the author’s signature. Binding remains sound.
