$5 Banknote

Issued in 2002, This $5 Journey Series banknote features a portrait of Sir Wilfred Laurier and the West Block of Parliament on the front with three Maple leaves in reflective ink, and kids tobogganing and playing hockey on the back. This note is in uncirculated condition and features the Jenkins/Dodge signature combination. 

The most unique feature is that the serial number is listed as a sheet replacement note, and is one of only 80,000 printed with this combination. It is also the same design as the 2006 issue with the three maple leaves instead of the foil strip and illustrates the evolving security innovations.
