This exquisite waste bowl is a true masterpiece of Georgian design and craftsmanship. The intricate incised pattern showcases the skill of the makers, Barr Flight & Barr, who created this original piece between 1792-1807. The puce and gilt leafed floral decoration, possibly by Joseph Cotterell, and undulating fluted exterior adds to the beauty of this rare item, making it a valuable addition to any Georgian period porcelain collection. The bowl measures 6-3/8" in rim diameter and stand 3" high.  It is in absolutely  beautiful  estate condition with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs and NO restorations.  The gilt shows rubs at the high points of the rim.  The interior well shows subtle surface wear, visible when angled towards a bright light source.  It bears the maker's incised handwritten B mark, as shown in the photos. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of history.
