Description of item for sale:

This headboard and footboard are from France and date to the early 1900's.  They are made from solid oak finished to a warm dark color. The details are very well carved and the lions are quite expressive.  There are holes where rails to the bed once were in the wood.  One could easily purchase converter rails and use these mounting points to make this a standard size Queen bed.  Overall this headboard and footboard are in very good condition with only minor chips and scratches consistent with their age.  Dimensions: The headboard is 64" tall, 65.25"wide and 3" deep.  The footboard is 48.5" tall, 65.25" wide and 3" deep.  (3452)
