This Mexican 10 centavos coin from 1979 features a design that includes a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a snake on the obverse side, with the words "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" and "United Mexican States" below. The reverse side shows an upright ear of corn, with a numeral and date on the left, and the words "10 CS. 1977 Mo" on the right.

Made of copper nickel and with a diameter of 15mm, this coin was minted by the Casa de Moneda de México. It is a standard circulation coin with a value of 10 centavos (0.10 MXP). This coin is circulated and ungraded, and has a milled edge in pairs.
