This listing is for an original, hand-engraved cigarette lighter from the US Army 864th Engineer Battalion, probably from the Vietnam War era. This unit deployed to Cam Ranh Bay in 1965. Has an enamel DUI crest affixed to one side, and hand-engraved Mount Fuji (Fujiyama) and stylized Japanese landscape on the other. Lighter is a Prince Rocky, made in Japan. Overall good condition, with moderate surface scratches, and slight wiggle to the lid at the hinge. Still a solid item, and a nice piece for anyone that collects items from 864th Engineers or wartime cigarette lighters.
