Each watch's description specifies the warranty period, and whether the warranty is covered by The Watch Source or the manufacturer. Unlike authorized dealers, we have chosen not to be associated with any brand-name manufacturers. This allows us to sell watches at prices other than the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
Our warranty period is either 2 years or 5 years from the purchase date unless otherwise stated. The warranty covers malfunctions resulting from manufacturing or material defects, battery replacement, and water resistance, provided the watch is used under normal conditions within the manufacturer's specifications.
However, the warranty does not cover damages such as scratches, finish, crystals or glass, leather or fabric straps, damage due to excessive wear and tear, damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations, and damage due to physical and/or accidental abuse. Neither our own warranty nor the manufacturer's warranty covers these items.
All warranty repairs must be done directly through The Watch Source via eBay. Any watches that are opened or repaired by any other source will void all warranties. We will cover all parts and labor or replace the watch at our discretion during the warranty period.
To return a watch for warranty repairs, you must obtain a Return Authorization No. (RAN#) from us via eBay prior to returning the watch. This number must be displayed on the outside of the box. Any watches returned without authorization will be refused. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information.
The customer is responsible for all postage and insurance costs for warranty returns to The Watch Source. Please make sure to return the watch via a traceable and insured, reliable method. Do not use FedEx to return goods, as FedEx does not insure watches or jewelry valued above £50. Additionally, return postage must be pre-paid and fully insured for the amount you expect to claim, as you will be held liable in case of loss or damages.
