This vintage ivory lace wedding dress by William Cahill features a high neck, empire waist with a simple ribbon accent and a long train, making it perfect for a bohemian or prairie style wedding.
The dress is in excellent condition and has been well-preserved over the years. It has a stiffer inner skirt that definitely needs to be pressed. It also comes with a vintage headpiece.
Size of the dress is S/M, probably around a modern size 6. ('m a standard size 4 and it is just a little big on me)
I'm about 5'5" and the length in front with a 2-3" heel just skims the ground.
Measurements taken with item lying flat:
- Across chest 17"
- Across shoulders (seam to seam) 15.5"
- Shoulder seam to wrist 25"
- Across empire waistline 15.5"
- Length is 56" in front and the longest part of the train is about another 2 feet
There are three minor flaws:
- Faded/white spot on the front chest (see photos)
- Small black mark on the front right shoulder
- Missing hook for the waist ribbon to latch onto
